100% GPS: Dual GPS (Coming Soon)

Having a problem with oversteering or understeering, dual GPS is the answer. Dual GPS means that you will be able to see exactly what your car is doing in a turn. By using two independent GPS units you can tell if your car is breaking lose or if it is planted through a turn. You are able to see the exact path of your front end and compare it to the path of the rear end. You can also couple this comparison with the steering position sensor to make sure car is following the same path as the wheel is being pointed.

By placing a GPS antenna on the front of the car and one in the back, we are able to measure the exact path of both the front end and back end. Now when you load your log file on the PC software you can see if the front of the car is pushing through a turn (understeering), if the back end is breaking loose or not following the front end (oversteering), or if the back end is in fact following the front end (planted through the turn). The dual GPS is also an ideal system to figure out if your suspension is loose or tight. If you find that the car is oversteering, your rear tires are losing traction, your car is loose. If the car is understeering, the front tires are losing traction, the car is tight. You can always lift you foot off the throttle but the idea is to find the perfect balance where a car is neither tight or loose through a turn when you are driving at top speeds.

Drift angle can also be measured with our dual GPS system. By comparing the path of the front end to the path of the back end we can easily calculate the angle the car maintains through a drift. You can view the drift angle on the display itself and then you can analyze it on the PC software after your run. You can compare your drift to another person's to see how they are getting a more extreme drift angle.
