K-Pod - $1,549.00
(Includes K-Pod, 20 Hz GPS (new), Quick Snap Mount, USB Memory Stick, Power Adapter (Direct Connect or Battery Connector With On/Off Switch), and Pro Analysis Software)
The K-Pod is a plug-n-play dash perfect for motorcycles, karts, or race cars. It easily mounts directly to the steering wheel or dash and features a cable harness coming out the side of the unit with 2 analog inputs, 2 digital inputs, and all the connectivity you will need to download session files or connect to a GPS. The K-Pod is a compact, rugged, 100% GPS lap timing tool that displays your lap, split, and predictive lap times anywhere on the track along with real time sensor data. The sunlight readable, color graphics touch screen instantly shows you any where on the track whether you are faster or slower than their fastest lap. This is predictive timing at its best. With the new Wi-Fi Racing option the K-Pod will broadcast all timing and sensor data to your coaches and mechanics on the sidelines. They can monitor your progress in real time right on their iTouch, iPhone, or iPad. The K-Pod comes standard with RLC's new, high accuracy 20 Hz GPS which is used for lap/predictive timing and track mapping. Any one of the data acquisition channel expander (DACX) modules can be added to the K-Pod to instantly add additional analog and digital channels to log data from sensors like engine temperature, brake pressure, or throttle position.

Even the most expensive pro systems can not offer the flexibility and features the K-Pod offers. All of this is at club level prices.

GPS Lap Timing
RLC Racing makes lap timing easier than ever before. With a simple touch of the screen, the start/finish line has been set and now every time you cross that line your lap time will pop up on the screen. Along with your lap time, the time difference between your fastest lap and your current lap will appear. Start/finish lines can also be saved and re-loaded for future use.
GPS Predictive Lap Timing
Instantly know if you are driving faster or slower than your fastest lap time. The race logger will automatically divide the track up into sections and set imaginary markers all around the track. The number of sections is set by the user. Each time you cross one of these imaginary markers your race logger compares your current time to your fastest lap time at that exact position on the track. The difference between these two times pops up on the screen to instantly let you know if you are faster or slower than your fastest lap time. Times appear in either red or green, depending if you are faster or slower than your fastest lap time, so with just a glance you can tell if you are on track to turn out a faster lap time.
GPS Split Timing
Having trouble finding the fastest line through a turn? Section off the track with imaginary markers that you set anywhere around the track. Now you can work on that particular turn and easily find the fastest line. Each time you cross the markers your time through that section pops up along with the time difference between your fastest time and your current time. You will quickly be able to find the fastest line through a turn and then you can switch over to predictive lap timing to work on the rest of the track.
GPS Exact Track Mapping
By using GPS to map a track, RLC Racing is able to produce the most accurate track maps available. Our professional PC analysis software allows you to see your exact lap lines within the widths of the actual track and each lap line is different because each lap line you drove is different. You can zoom in on the track to analyze your lap lines in even more detail. By being able to see the exact line you drove through a turn, you can easily identify your fastest line and why it was your fastest line. Exact Track Maps are saved in the PC software, so you only have to map a track once, and can be loaded at any time.

Initial Warning Screen
The initial warning screen flashes the troubled sensor red when the initial warning level has been reached. The initial warning level is set by the user and is the level at which you want to be alerted to a potential problem.
-
Final Warning Screen
The final warning screen flashes the entire screen and LEDs red. It requires the driver to acknowledge the warning to continue. The final warning level is set by the user and is the level at which there is a serious problem with the car. The car should be taken off the track immediately before major damage is done.
-
Sensor Screens
The sensor screens visibly allow you to view the value of sensors and provide calibration options for common sensors. For less common sensors, there are generic sensor screens that you can assign to any sensor you choose. These sensor screens can be used in the pits to help you set up a car, on the track to help make car adjustments such as the brakes, or in replay mode to see how the car was functioning.

Race Replay
Don't have a PC handy to download your data? Playback your entire race right on your unit! When a PC is not available or you don't want to drag it to the track, you can playback any logged session on your unit. The race replay mode shows everything the car was doing while out on the track. You will see the RPM, speed, pressures, and temperatures going up and down exactly as they were when you were running the car. You can also navigate to the sensor screens and watch sensor data going up and down as well. If you were having problems with your car, race replay is a great tool to figure out when and where your car started to have them.

The K-Pod cable harness is small and simple. It wires directly to a battery with the switch harness that allows you to easily turn it on and off. Each analog input, digital input, and digital outputĀ is arranged in a separate group that consists of power, ground, and channel. This makes it easy to connect to any number of sensors.
The cable harness also consists of all the connectivity that you need to download your sessions quick. Downloading the data from the K-Pod onto a PC is fast! You simply use a USB FLASH memory stick with a transfer rate of 2.4 Mb/sec, that's 2.5x faster than our competitors. You can individually plug in a mouse, keyboard, FLASH Drive, or use an USB External hub to connect all of them at the same time. The serial ports are used to connect to GPS systems and synchronized video. The CAN bus can be used to interface most popular ECUs and can operate up to 1 Mb/sec. |

| Instantly add additional analog and digital channels or OBD-II connectivity to your k-Pod by connecting one of the data acquisition channel expanders (DACX). The DACX plugs directly into the harness of the K-Pod and each channel is 72 inches long and has the connector attached at the end so you can quickly connect to any one of our pre-wired sensors. Any number of DACX modules can be added to your K-Pod data logger to get the number of channels you desire. |
