Car Setup Files
RLC Racing is making setting up your car as easy as 1, 2, 3.
Step 1. Check to See That Your Unit Has the Newest Firmware and Configuration Files
If you just purchased your unit you may skip this step, the latest firmware and configuration files were loaded at the factory. If you have an older unit, verify that you are running the latest firmware and the configuration files. Click here to download the latest firmware and configuration files for your unit. Instructions on how to update your unit can be found on the downloads web page and can also be found in the Getting Started Manual.
Step 2. Select a Car Setup and Connect Sensors
Below are diagrams of a typical car setups for both Micro Pod and Pro units. Browse through the different car setups and choose the one that best fits your system. Load the appropriate car file on your Micro Pod or Pro unit, instructions on how to load a car can be found in the Getting Started Manual. A detailed PDF can be found for each of the car setups. The PDF shows you which sensors were connected to which channels so that you can set your system up the same way to make it even easier. If you purchased your sensors from RLC and setup your system the way the PDF shows then your system is plug-n-play.
Step 3. Modify Parameters
The PDF also shows you the limits and alarms (RPM shift points, temperatures, pressures, etc.) that were set for each sensor. You may have to adjust these limits according to your system. The Getting Started Manual can show you how to adjust these limits and alarms.
