Below are some examples of installs.

Motorcycle Mount
 
These pictures show how RLC mounted and installed a Track Commander onto a motorcycle used in motocross. The Track Commander is mounted onto a mounting plate available from RLC. Also on the mounting plate is the GPS antenna, on/off switch, and WiFi connector. The plate mounts directly to the handle bars and can quickly be installed. If your bike has the bar accross the top it provides protection for the unit.
 
If your bike does not have a battery then you will need to purchase one. RLC recommends a 11.2 V lithium ion battery (can be picked up at your local hobby shop). The on/off switch allows the rider to easily turn the Track Commander on/off. The battery, harness, and GPS module is securely mounted to the shocks and out of the way (also protected by the front plastic).
 
Honda Racing Install
 
These are pictures of the Honda Racing Formula Ford racing car they use for trade shows and testing. RLC worked with Honda HPD (Honda Performance Development) to enable our race dashes to connect to their new Honda HPD ECU. RLC race dashes connect to the Honda HPD ECU and log and display all data coming from it.
Mount
This is a picture of a typical installation for a closed wheel car. We used a mounting plate, connected it to the steering columnm, and mounted the Micro Pod Lite or Pro X to the plate.
 
This is a picture of a typical installation for an open wheel car. We mounted the Micro Pod Lite or Pro X directly to the dash.
 
This is a picture of a typical installation for a steering wheel mount. We mounted the Micro Pod Sport or Track Commander directly to the steering wheel.
 
This is a picture of a typical installation for a suction cup mount. We mounted the Micro Pod Sport, Pro S, or Track Commander directly to the windshield of the car with the suction cup mount. This is an ideal mount for track day installations.
This is a picture of a typical installation for a motorcycle. We mounted the K-Pod or Track Commander directly to the handle bars.
 
 
Tach Hookups
You can connect to the tach output on the diagnostic port or ECU using the ITS-RLC-SPK sensor. If using the ITS-RLC-SPK sensor strip the stiff wire and plug directly into diagnostic port, ground other end (black wire with spade attached).   We recommend picking up the tach with the diagnostic port but you can also use a tach sensor and wrap it around the spark plug wire. This method will not work on a wasted fire system.
 
You can connect to the tach with the ITS-8918 by connecting to the primary lead wire in a coil over system.   You can connect to a tach output directly with the CAB-DI-Tach. This should only be used if the tach output is a clear signal, if not try the ITS-RLC-SPK which has an amplifier to help with noise.
