Chase Commander: Key Features

A plug-n-play color graphics GPS performance driving tool for track days and performance driving. Performance measurements, lap/split/predictive times, track mapping, data logging, and much more. Uses no beacons and is easily installed without wiring.

The Chase Commander is different from any other race logger on the market. The Chase Commander unit is the only data logger to use color graphics to display vital information to the driver. Along with color graphics it uses GPS for track mapping, 2 GB of data logging ability, and easy download technology (USB memory stick). With exceptional features such as these we can't imagine anyone wanting to use the other guys. Please view the slide show below for screen shots and details about the Chase Commander.

Color Graphics Display

All R.L.C. units feature a sunlight readable, color graphics LCD. Color graphics makes the data easier to read so the driver/crew can see it and make quick use of it. R.L.C. units also feature a full touch screen so navigating to the different screens is easy; all it requires is the touch of your finger. After you try our unit you will agree that color graphics makes all the difference in the world.

Sychronized Video

R.L.C. has worked closely with ChaseCam to produce the only truly synchronized video. By connecting a ChaseCam PDR100 to a Chase Commander, the data is actually embedded in the video file so when you play back your race on our PC software your data directly corresponds to the exact position on the track. To read more about synchronized video, click here.

Camera completely controlled by Chase Commander unit (on/off and start/stop recording)
Video directly linked to data and GPS position
All files time and data stamped

Connectivity

Downloading the data from the Chase Commander onto a PC is fast! You can use a USB FLASH memory stick with a transfer rate of 2.4 Mb/sec, that's 2.5x faster than our competitors. Other companies force you to purchase a custom USB to CAN adapter and claim to offer USB. The special adapter will cost you several hundred dollars and make sure you don't lose it because a standard cable will not work. The serial ports are used for connecting to GPS systems and synchronized video.
USB Host For FLASH Stick / Drive
Two (2) Serial Ports (RS-232) For GPS And Synchronized Video (Logged)
