Track Commander: Key Features

The Track Commander is different from any other race logger on the market. Along with a color graphics touch screen it is 100% GPS based. All lap timing, predictive timing, split lap timing, speed, and track mapping are done with GPS. The Track Commander also features 2 GB of data logging ability, an internal 3-axis G-Force sensor, and easy download technology (USB memory stick). With exceptional features such as these we can't imagine anyone wanting to use the other guys. Please view the slide show below for screen shots and details about the Track Commander.

Color Graphics Display

All R.L.C. units feature a sunlight readable, color graphics LCD. Color graphics makes the data easier to read so the driver/crew can see it and make quick use of it. R.L.C. units also feature a full touch screen so navigating to the different screens is easy; all it requires is the touch of your finger. After you try our unit you will agree that color graphics makes all the difference in the world.

Sychronized Video

R.L.C. race dash systems feature truly synchronized video by using either a ChaseCam or GoPro HD camera. By connecting a ChaseCam PDR100 to a Track Commander, the data is actually embedded in to the video file creating a single file (contains both video and data). If you use a GoPro camera you can manually synchronize the video file and the log file in the Pro Race Analysis software (you only have to do this once). Data Acquisition Expansion

Instantly add analog and digital channels or OBD-II connectivity to your Track Commander by connecting one of the data acquisition channel expanders (DACX). The DACX plugs directly into the harness of the Track Commander and each channel is 72 inches long and has the connector attached at the end so you can quickly connect to any one of our pre-wired sensors.

Connectivity

Downloading the data from the Track Commander onto a PC is fast! You can use a USB FLASH memory stick with a transfer rate of 2.4 Mb/sec, that's 2.5x faster than our competitors. Other companies force you to purchase a custom USB to CAN adapter and claim to offer USB. The special adapter will cost you several hundred dollars and make sure you don't lose it because a standard cable will not work.
